  • Neurotoxins

Neurotoxins are effective wrinkle relaxing treatments that help prevent and minimize fine lines and wrinkles by weakening the muscle

  • Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a popular cosmetic treatment used to restore volume to the face, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours.

More About Botox® Cosmetic

This non-surgical procedure smooths and corrects lines around the eyes. A purified protein relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles formed from repeated facial expressions. The effects of Botox® Cosmetic last up to three to four months.

More About Juvederm®

This non-surgical injectable gel is used to temporarily fill in and correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. It adds volume to the skin and produces the appearance of a smoother, softer look for up to one year.

How Injectables Work

As you age, your facial skin begins to lose its elasticity and volume. As a result, the face droops and shifts downwards and your facial features may become hollow. Injectables work by helping to replace the hyaluronic acid your skin has lost with age, adding volume to ‘fill out’ and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds.

What causes facial wrinkles?

Wrinkles are part of life – our skin changes as we age. It becomes thinner, loses fat, and no longer looks as plump and smooth as it once did. Facial aging actually begins in your 20s, when skin firmness begins to decrease as a result of both internal (genetics and natural aging) and external (sun exposure, smoking, pollution, sleeping positions, etc.) factors.

How long do injectables last?

It depends on which filler you use, where it’s injected, and the patient. On average dermal filler last between 6-12 months.

How soon will I see results?

Results can be seen as early as 2 days, but it can take up to 2 weeks to see the full effect.

What are potential side effects?

The most common side effects included temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching. Side effects were mild or moderate (uncomfortable) and generally lasted 30 days or less.
